Wikipedia: Körperkontakt bezeichnet die aktive oder passive Berührung des eigenen oder fremden Körpers. Die Intensität reicht dabei von der sanften Berührung mit den Fingerspitzen über den Kontakt mit Lippen oder Händen usw. bis zum Schlag mit der Faust. Neuere Forschungen haben ergeben, dass Menschen ausreichenden und wohl-meinenden Körperkontakt brauchen, um zentrale Körperfunktionen wie Wärmehaushalt, Immun- und Herz-/Kreislaufsystem zu regulieren.Was steht mir zur Verfügung, wenn ich isoliert bin? Wie reagiere ich? Mein Körper? Was impliziert „social distancing“? Entsteht Sehnsucht nach dem anderen Körper/ Berührung – wie anders als ansonsten? Diese Empfindung führt immer wieder zur Auseinandersetzung mit dem eigenen (Körper), der Verletzlichkeit, dem Entblößen, den Limitationen, Ängsten … etc. Welche Spuren hinterlässt die Erfahrung – kollektiv? Folgen für den zwischenmenschlichen Umgang?
Sowie die Grenzen des Körpers – Verknotungen und das distanzierte Berühren bzw. Festhalten/Greifen/Einschränken durch das Fassen mit einem fingerlosen Handschuh aus Latex/Kautschuk (Melkhandschuh) in einer Duschkabine/Wanne – ausgelotet werden, werden die Grenzen des Mediums und dessen Präsentationsform (Verlassen des Rahmens, der Fläche und auch das Zerlegen des Mediums und damit Bildes selbst) ausgelotet.
Es ist kein lineares Erzählen, keine chronologisch zu begreifenden Bildfolgen, sondern ein Heran-/ Ertasten, Vermuten, Neu-Interpretieren, Umformulieren und Umdeuten – ein offenes Erzählkonzept mit einem/r aktiven Betrachter*in, der eigene Erfahrungen, Sichtweisen und seinen/ihren Körper einbringt.
Neben der ursprünglichen Serie aus demontierten Polaroids (10x10cm) ist eine Rauminstallation entstanden.
Die Sofortbild-Fotografie wird zum bildhauerischen Material. Auf 100x100 cm transparente Fläche gedruckt, sind die Motive im Raum ein Gegenüber und umgehbar. Die zwei Schichten der Polaroids sind getrennt und als Objekt im Raum aufgestellt. Die Räumlichkeit des Motivs wird durch das Demontieren schon verstärkt – nun wird es übertragen in den realen Raum – und entsteht nicht illusionistisch wie im Medium Fotografie.

Wikipedia: Body contact names the active or passive touch of the own or a different body. The intensity of the touch extends from a gentle touch of the finger tips to a contact of the lips or hands e.g. to the hit of a fist. Recent research has shown that humans need adequate and well-meaning contact to regulate central body functions as heat balance, immune and cardiovascular system.What is available to me when I am isolated? How do I react? My body? What does “social distancing” imply? Does longing for the alien body/touch arise—how different than otherwise? This sensation leads again and again to confrontation with one’s own (body), vulnerability, exposure, limitations, fears… etc. Which traces does the experience leave behind—collectively? Consequences for interpersonal dealings?
Such as the limitations of the body—knots and distant touches or more the hold on/grab/restrict by grasping with a fingerless latices glove (milking glove) in a shower cubicle or tub—the limitations of the media, its form of presentation (leaving the frame, the surface area and the dismantling of the material and thereby the image itself) are explored.
There is no linear narration, no chronologically comprehensible picture sequence, but an approach, a feel, a presumption, a new interpretation, rephrasing and reinterpretation—it is an open concept of narration with an active observer, whom brings in own experiences, points of views and even the own body.
Besides of the series of dismantled instant photography images (10x10 cm) an installation was created.
Photography becomes a sculptural material. Printed on a transparent acrylic surface of 100x100 cm, the motifs become a by-passable counterpart in space. The two layers of the polaroids are separated and presented as a spatial object. The spatiality of the motif is amplified by dismantling—now it is transferred into the real space— and is not created illusionistically as in the medium photography.
