Die Polaroids zeigen meine Schlafstätten im Jahre 2019.
Das Bett ist Ort des Schlafes, des Traumes, der Zweisamkeit, der Einsamkeit, von Sex, Liebe und Gewalt, Krankenlager, der Geburt und des Sterbens.
Hotelzimmer sind vermeidlich Räume ohne Erinnerung – hier ist nichts persönlich. Die Anonymität des Raumes bietet die perfekte Plattform für Fantasie und die perfekte Illusion. Die architektonische Abtrennung des Schlafraumes ist historisch jung und weltweit nicht Standard.

I tooked those polaroids from the places I slept in 2019.
The bed is the place for sleep, dreams, togetherness, loneliness, sex, love and violence, sick camp, of birth and death. Hotel rooms are probably spaces without memory—here nothing is private. The anonymity of the space offers a perfect platform for phantasy and the perfect illusion. The architectural separation of the bedroom is historically young and no global standard.
